Don Bark was an outstanding athlete in two major intercollegiate sports. He played Varsity Football from 1945-47 and was the team's scoring leader in 1946. He was a prolific scorer during three seasons on the hockey Blues (1945-6 through 1947-48), setting a career scoring record and tying for the league scoring title in 1947-48. He played a key role as the hockey Blues won the Ontario-Quebec intercollegiate title in 1946-47 and tied Dartmouth for the North American college hockey crown, and then the Blues swept both championships titles in 1947-48. In 1948, he was co-winner of UofT's Biggs Trophy for outstanding leadership, sportsmanship and performance. Bark coached Varsity's Intermediate Football Blues from 1949-51 and played senior Football with the Peterborough Orfuns from 1953-55, including their national championship team in 1955. He curently practises law in Peterborough.
