Hall of Fame
The women on the 1997-98 track and field team were very familiar with the top of the podium. Coach of the year Carl Georgevski led his team to the OUA and CIAU championships. The Blues won the national title that year with a record 83 points.
All eyes were on the Blues at the OUA championships, where the team won all three relay events. At the CIAU championships, the Blues won an impressive five gold, three silver, and one bronze medal in individual competition, silver in the 4x800m relay, and gold in the 4x200m and the 4x400m relays.
