Hall of Fame
Hugh Gall was an outstanding halfback and kicker, and his records of eight singles in the 1909 Grey Cup game and 12 career singles in Grey Cup games survive today. He was captain of Blues 1910 Grey Cup champions, played for Parkdale in the 1913 Grey Cup and then coached the Blues to the intercollegiate championship in 1914. In 1908 Gall helped to form the Intercollegiate Basketball Union, and he was also active in intramural Baseball, Basketball and Hockey. He was named to the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1963.
