Jean Hayward was a leading member of the Varsity Blues indoor and outdoor intercollegiate archery teams from 1958-62. She helped the squad to the women’s T award (women’s team first colour) in 1960 and earned an individual Senior T award in 1962.

Jean played a key role in guiding U of T to the indoor team title in 1958 and 1959. Jean’s steady aim again led the way in 1962 when U of T took the outdoor title.
