Hall of Fame
Bea Symons earned a remarkable total of five Senior Ts and nine Second Colours prior to graduating from Trinity College in 1932. She was a member of intercollegiate championship teams in Basketball and Tennis, and also played on intramural championships in Basketball, Ice Hockey, Swimming, Diving and Tennis. Bea also won numerous provincial, regional and national tennis titles, including Ontario doubles champion from 1930-1932. With her husband and fellow Hall of Fame inductee Gilbert Nunns, she is part of a remarkable family of UofT athletes: Their four daughters - Margot, Ruth, Mary and Brenda - played on championship teams, as did grand-daughter Gillian Grant.
