OWIAA Champions
 
The 1995-96 Varsity Blues women’s volleyball team compiled a perfect 10-0 regular season record without dropping a single set (30-0). The Blues didn’t stop there, cruising past Brock, Western and York 3-0 in the quarter, semi and finals, respectively, to claim their first provincial title since 1989. Toronto went 2-1 to place seventh at the CIAU national tournament.
 
Setter Diane Campbell was named an OWIAA all-star, OWIAA tournament all-star, CIAU first team all-Canadian and won the TSN Therese Quigley award recognizing excellence in volleyball, academics and community involvement.
 
Outside hitter Athena Gerochristodoulou also earned OWIAA all-star and tournament all-star honours and was named to the CIAU all-Canadian second team. Diana Cerny (Clarke) was named a provincial all-star and Amanda Evison earned OWIAA championship MVP honours.
