Fourth-year forward Matt Campagna scored three goals in leading the Varsity Blues men’s hockey team to two big road wins this past weekend (Nov. 23-24).

The employment relations major from Mississauga, Ont., notched the game-tying and overtime winner as the Blues topped the Waterloo Warriors on Friday night. After tying the game with 1:05 remaining in the third period, Campagna skated in off the blue line and sent a beautiful shot past Warriors goalie Julian Sime 2:08 into the extra period to secure the victory.

Campagna didn’t stop there. The 2017-18 OUA all-star scored a beautiful backhand goal in Toronto’s 3-1 upset victory over the No. 9 nationally ranked York Lions on Saturday night.
