Fourth-year left side hitter Charlotte Sider notched 13 kills and 10 digs in leading the Varsity Blues women’s volleyball team to a 3-1 victory over the Ryerson Rams on Sunday afternoon at the Athletic Centre Sports Gym.

The Ottawa native added two serving aces in helping the Blues to their fifth straight victory and avenging a season-opening loss to the Rams. The two teams were tied heading into Sunday’s match, with Toronto moving into sole possession of third place in the East with a 6-2 record.

Sider now ranks fifth in the province with 86 kills in eight games so far this season.
