Second-year standout Truman Tai earned the individual silver medal and led the University of Toronto Varsity Blues men’s golf team to a second-place finish at the OUA championship, October 21-22, at Grey Silo Golf Course.

Tai was tied for second with a two-day total of 142, including a tournament low 69 on Day 2. The Markham, Ont., native earned his first OUA all-star honour of his Varsity Blues career.

An engineering major, Tai helped Toronto to the team silver medal, as the Blues finished just two strokes back (584) of the eventual champion Western Mustangs (582).
