University of Toronto Varsity Blues field hockey defender Maggie Mullins has been named a U SPORTS first team all-Canadian as announced by Field Hockey Canada at the 2025 University Championship banquet on Wednesday (Oct. 29) night.
Mullins received the recognition in her hometown of Charlottetown as UPEI serves as host for the national showcase event. This marks the first time Mullins has received all-Canadian honours in her U of T career, while continuing a streak of 40 consecutive seasons where U of T field hockey has garnered an all-Canadian.
A third-year veteran, the national honour follows a second consecutive season as an OUA all-star for Mullins. A critical piece to the Blues gameplan providing tremendous leadership, she served as a defensive stopper for the Toronto while also spearheading the transition offence. In total, Mullins appeared in and started all eight regular season games this fall, adding two goals to her career tally. She additionally appeared in both postseason games for the Blues, helping U of T claim a provincial silver medal.
The 2025 University Championship, hosted by UPEI, runs from Oct. 30 - Nov. 2.
