The OUA defending champion University of Toronto Varsity Blues baseball team heads to their OUA regional qualifier, October 4-6, hosted by the TMU Bold in Brampton, Ont.
 
The Blues open the round robin tournament versus the York Lions on Friday night (Oct. 4) at 7 p.m., before taking on the Laurentian Voyageurs and host Bold at 10 a.m., and 2:30 p.m., on Saturday.  
 
The top two teams out of the round robin will meet in the final. The winner of each of the four regional tournaments will advance to the OUA Baseball Final Four, October 11-12, hosted by U of T at Ajax Sportsplex.
 
The Blues will look to repeat their 2023 performance, which saw them go a perfect 4-0 in regional action and 2-0 at the Final Four en route to their seventh provincial title since 2001.
 
Toronto went 10-4 through regular season action and are currently riding a five-game win streak.
