Box Score The Varsity Blues women's soccer team fell 6-1 to the Nipissing Lakers on Sunday (Oct. 16) afternoon in North Bay, Ont.
 
With the loss, the Blues complete the 2022 OUA regular season with a 9-3 record. They currently sit second in the OUA east division with 27 points. 
 
HOW IT HAPPENED: Nipissing opened the scoring 29 minutes into the first half with a goal from Jennifer Milligan. Nipissing defender Rylee Traicoff score from the penalty spot with two minutes to go in the first half. 
 
Taylor Schell would add to the Lakers lead at the 50-minute mark. Milligan would add her second of the game two minutes later. Alanna Delle Monache and Victoria Picanco finished the scoring for Nipissing with goals in the 61^st and 69^th minute. 
 
Fourth-year striker Lindsay Bosveld scored the Blues lone goal in the game in the 61^st minute.
 
Blues goalie Maddy Nardin finished the game with nine saves.
