The University of Toronto Varsity Blues wrestling team continued their fall competition schedule with the York Open.

Earning a podium result in the men's 90kg bracket, Lucas Andtbacka claimed third overall. Teammate Omar Al-Lahham also grabbed a Top 6 finish in the same weight class placing sixth.

For the women, Ziyi He earned the top result for the Varsity Blues with a fourth-place finish in the 56kg category. Fellow Varsity Blue Senuki Dasanayaka was right behind in fifth-place in the same bracket. Rounding out the Top 6 finishes was Alexandra Lubczenko who claimed sixth in the women's 76kg event.

A busy fall competition schedule continues with the TMU Open set for Sunday, Nov. 16.
