University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's golfer Mia Wong earned OUA athlete of the week honours for the period ending October 19, 2025.

Leading the charge for the U of T women and claiming the overall individual gold medal at the OUA Championships this past weekend was second-year standout Mia Wong. The commerce major posted a tournament-best round of 71 on Day 2, leapfrogging her four spots into first place to claim the Judy McCrae Trophy as individual champion with a two-day total of 148.

She becomes the second consecutive Blue to win the Judy McCrae Trophy and sixth to lift it since 2006. Her spectacular Sunday was highlighted by five birdies and nine pars, helping her achieve OUA all-star status. Wong's outstanding performance also helped the Blues claim team silver.
