University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's tennis player Anastasiya Dyadchenko and Blues baseball player Diego Fuentes earned OUA athlete of the week honours for the period ending October 12, 2025.

Named a 2025 OUA all-star and 2025 OUA Player of the Year, Dyadchenko helped the Varsity Blues claim their third straight OUA banner and 42nd in program history. Serving as the team' No. 1, the social science major lifted the Blues through the first two rounds of the championship weekend with four wins across two singles and two doubles matches, no conceding a single set to her opponents. She then helped U of T secure the doubles point in the gold medal match alongside her partner Maria Popova, as the Blues would go on to convincingly take the championship final by a score of 6-1. Dyadchenko is now a three-time OUA all-star and has been named Player of the Year in two of the last three seasons.

Fuentes, a second-year kinesiology major, helped drive an unstoppable Varsity Blues offence to secure a third straight OUA baseball championship for U of T this past weekend. In an 11-5 semifinal win over the host Waterloo Warriors, Fuentes went 3-for-6 including a double. This led to a three RBI and two run game from the big-hitting outfielder from B.C. Fuentes then followed that up with a 2-for-4 gold medal game outing, including a clutch two-run home run. He would finish the championship weekend with six RBI on five hits in total.
