The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's golf team placed eighth overall at the 2024 Waterloo/Laurier Invitational this past weekend (Sept. 28-29) in Waterloo, Ont.
 
Toronto finished with a combined team score of 607, just three strokes off of fifth place.
 
Bryan Luo led Toronto, placing tied for 14th individually with a two-day total of 148, including an impressive round of 67 on Day 2.  Sai Kaja (81,72) and Kazuma Sawai (75,78) each finished with two-day scores of 153, while Mac Andrekson shot a 154 (76,78). Jordan Hutching rounded out the weekend with a 158 (81,77).
 
The Blues now turn their attention to the OUA championships, October 5-6, hosted by the University of Windsor a Ambassador Golf Club.
