Box Score The Varsity Blues women's soccer team lost 1-0 to the Carleton Ravens on Sunday (Sept. 3) afternoon in Ottawa, Ont. 
 
It was a quiet first half on the goal sheet for the Blues and Ravens. The two teams traded momentum throughout the half creating good chances, but were stopped by their respective goalies.
 
Blues rookie goalie Maria Godoy-Atrash made key saves for the Blues throughout the match. 
 
The Ravens capitalized on a chance early in the second half when Shyanna Gauthier scored in the 53^rd minute. The two teams would continue to battle it out through the second half, but U of T were unable to capitalize on their chances. 
 
The Blues return home on Friday, September 8 to play the Ottawa Gee-Gees for their home opener. Kick-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tickets are available here.
