As announced by the OUA on Tuesday (Nov. 3) afternoon, the University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's soccer team received four OUA all-stars including Emilija Lucic, Maria Godoy-Atrash, Natasha Budisa, and Kimee Liu.
Being named an OUA Est first team all-star for the first time as a Varsity Blues, Lucic delivered her best season yet this fall. The third-year midfielder was a key piece to the team success, dominating possession for the Blues in the middle of the pitch. Appearing in all 12 regular season games, she would utilize her tremendous strength and speed to lead the team with seven goals. This included back-to-back two goal games during Toronto's postseason push in October. Lucic is now a two-time all-star receiving OUA East second team all-star honours last year.
A fourth-year goalkeeper, Godoy-Atrash accounted for six of the Blues eight wins this fall. Providing leadership from her goalline, the veteran helped Toronto maintain one of the best defensive units in the province. Godoy-Atrash finished the regular season with 38 total saves, including three matches with eight saves. This marks the first all-star recognition for Godoy-Atrash across her four seasons with the Blues as she was named to the second team.
Showing tremendous versatility, Budisa made the switch from forward to defender for the 2026 campaign and proved to be essential to the Blues defensive success. Appearing and starting in all 12 regular season games, Budisa helped U of T limit opponents to just 12 goals, ranking fifth in the OUA. In addition to her ability on the defensive end of the field, Budisa still contributed offensively adding three goals to her career tally. She receives OUA East second team all-star honours for the first time.
Joining the Blues after two seasons south of the border, Liu made a noticeable impact to earn OUA second team all-star honours. The third-year midfielder provided a steady presence in the middle of the pitch contributing as both a goal scorer and playmaker. Appearing in all 12 regular season contests, Liu finished with five goals and five assists. This was highlighted by a three-point game versus Trent in late September, registering two goals and an assist in a dominant 5-0 home victory.
