BLUES RETURN HOME FOR FIRST TIME IN 2023

The Varsity Blues women's lacrosse team hosted the Queen's Gaels and Ontario Tech Ridgebacks on Saturday (Sept. 16) at Varsity Stadium.
 
The University of Toronto started the day matching up against the 2022 OUA champions Queen's Gaels, falling by a score of 20-7. Rheanna Swanson led the way for the Blues in that game, picking up four goals. Rylin Cormier recorded a goal and an assist. 

In the afternoon, the Blues faced off against the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks, dropping their second match of the day 14-9.

Swanson and Cormier recorded three goals apiece, with Swanson recording an assist, leaving the two with 8 (7G, 1A) total points and 5 (4G, 1A) total points over the weekend. Fifth-year attacker Mary Frost tallied a goal and an assist in the matchup. 

The Varsity Blues now head to Ontario Tech to challenge the Ridgebacks and Trent Excalibur on Sunday, September 24.
