Box Score The Varsity Blues women's soccer team drew 1-1 with the Nipissing Lakers on Sunday (Sept. 10) afternoon at Varsity Stadium. 
 
The Blues were led by veteran defender Hannah Chown, who capitalized on her chance from the penalty spot in the 55^thminute, her second goal in as many games. Forward Anne Yeomans finished the game with a team-high two shots on target. 
 
Rookie goalie Julianna Ottoni recorded eight saves through the 90 minutes. 
 
Nipissing's Jennifer Milligan tied up the game with fifteen minutes to play after scoring from a free kick. 
 
The Blues will face off against TMU in the first and only edition of the Battle of Toronto on Saturday, September 16 at Downsview Park. Kick-off is scheduled for 4 p.m.
