The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's lacrosse team defeated the Brock Badgers 22-7 in Hamilton on Saturday (Oct. 14) morning.
The win marks the second for the Blues across the last three games as the continue to find their momentum heading into the final stretch of the OUA regular season.
Facing the Badgers on neutral ground in Hamilton, U of T's offence exploded for over 20 goals, including a team-high eight goals from Rylin Cormier, who also added another four assists to round out her increible Saturday morning performance. The Blues also received six goals from Rheanna Swanson, four goals from Lily Brooks, and single markers from Julia Ibelings, Mary Frost, Michaela Kitor, and Maria Ward.
Toronto have a short turnaround as they are back in action tomorrow (Oct. 15) afternoon in Oshawa challenging the Western Mustangs and Guelph Gryphons in a Sunday doubleheader. The first game for versus the Mustangs begins at 10:15 a.m. at Vaso's Field, followed by the Gryphons match at 3:30 p.m.
