BLUES BLANK PALADINS

Box Score The Varsity Blues women's soccer team beat the RMC Paladins 3-0 on Sunday afternoon (Sept. 4) in Kingston, Ont.
 
With the win, the Blues finish their first weekend of the 2022 season with a 1-1 record.
 
In the first half, Hannah Chown scored from the penalty spot in the seventh minute to open the scoring for the Blues. Chown has now scored in back-to-back games. Fourth-year striker Lindsay Bosveld would score in the 44th minute for her first goal of the season, to extend the Blues lead to 2-0. 
 
In the second half, Miranda Badovinac scored in the 55th minute, to get her first of the season to add to the Blues tally. 
 
The Varsity Blues return to action Sunday, September 11 when they faceoff against the Ottawa Gee-Gee's in Ottawa, Ont. Kick off is scheduled for 1 p.m.
