BLUES FALL IN DOUBLE HEADER

The Varsity Blues women's lacrosse team lost 15-5 to the Queen's Gaels and 9-7 to the Trent Excalibur at Vaso's Field on September 10, 2022. 

HOW IT HAPPENED: In the opening game against the Gaels, Rylin Cormier opened the scoring for the Blues. Third-year midfielder Leah Hickey scored her first of the season. First-year Alexa Fenton scored the Blues third goal of the game. Second-year defender Taylor Wilcox added to the Blues tally. Jessica DiAntonio finished off the scoring for the Blues. 
In the following game against the Excalibur, DiAntonio finished the game with a hattrick. Fenton scored a goal and an assist in the Blues loss. Cormier, Madison Spruit and Lily Brooks also scored for the Blues. 

UP NEXT: The Blues take on Queen's University and Ontario Tech Sunday, September 18 in Peterborough, Ont.
