BLUES ROLL OVER MARAUDERS

For the fourth time in a row, the Varsity Blues women's water polo team gained an impressive win over a NCWP Ontario West Division rival. This time it was a 19-5 victory in a rematch with the visiting McMaster Marauders.

In the opening quarter, the Blues defence stifled each Marauders attack, causing multiple turnovers that led to Toronto counterattack goals. The Blues exploded for eight goals in the frame, while shutting out their opponents.

Toronto extended its shutout to half time while finding the back of the net five more times to lead 13-0.

The second half was much closer with Toronto holding a slim 6-5 advantage.

For the second game in a row, Tyanna Supreme (Montreal) led the Blues attack with six goals.  Lauren Dundee (Perth, Scotland) followed with four while Tori Wilson (Kitchener) had a hat trick.  Six players each tallied once: Chloe MacVicar (Irvine, California), Emily Grossman (Sunnyvale, California), Julianna Hill (Victoria, B.C.), Vega Jones (Surrey, B.C.), Serena Spencer (London, Ontario) and Hannah Levin (Calgary).

Arushi Madan (Cupertino, California) had a great game in goal with numerous quality saves.

The Blues will have a quick turnaround when they host Ontario Water Polo's Regional Development Center team.
