The University of Toronto Varsity Blues wommen's water polo team went 4-0 and outscored their opponents 78-18 between Friday (Sept. 26) and Sunday (Sept. 28) at the U of T Fall Classic at Varsity Pool.
The Blues began the weekend with an 18-3 win over the McMaster Marauders on Friday as fifth-year attacker Hannah Levin, second-year attacker Daryn Schell and second-year centre forward Georgia Springate were U of T's top scorers with three-goal performances.
On Saturday, the Blues bested the Queen's Gaels 22-7 as Levin was U of T's top scorer, adding another three goals to her weekend total. In their second game of the day against the Carleton Ravens third-year journalism student Josie Hlohovsky Andrist was the top scorer for Toronto with a four-goal game.
The Blues wrapped up the weekend with a 14-4 win over the Gee-Gees on Sunday.
The Blues are back in action at the Queen's invitational on Saturday (Nov. 1) and Sunday (Nov. 2) in Kingston, Ont.
