The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's water polo team won their 12th straight provincial title with a 12-6 victory over McGill in the 2025 NCWP Championship final on Sunday afternoon (Nov. 30) in Kingston, Ont.
Toronto, who was the No. 1 seed entering the championship, made quick work of the McMaster Marauders in semifinal action, coming out with an 18-3 victory on Saturday afternoon.
That set the Blues up against McGill, who gave Toronto their best game of the season.
"McGill has some crafty veteran players and a very strong goalie," said Varsity Blues head coach Evan Price. "They were the strongest opponent we have played this year, and they pushed our team to execute at a championship level. I'm very proud of our athletes and coaching staff for bringing home another championship."
