RAMS SEE FIRST PROGRAM WIN OVER BLUES

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's soccer team fell to the Rams for the first time in program history by a score of 2-1 on Saturday, October 2 at Downsview Park.

HOW IT HAPPENED: A back-and-forth first half saw Blues fourth-year forward Miranda Badovinac open the scoring (34'). The Rams levelled the score nine minutes later as midfielder Christiana Daniel found the back of the net (43').

Early in the second half, defender Skylar Sheehan-Alleyene gave the Rams the lead (51'), which they would hold for the remainder of the match.

Fourth-year goalkeeper, Maddy Nardin faced seven shots in the contest stopping five of them.

UP NEXT: The Blues will play their next match Wednesday, October 6 at McMaster.
