The Toronto Varsity Blues kept their Day 1 lead intact during the team relay events, to capture their third consecutive provincial banner as the 2020 OUA women's fencing championship wrapped up on Sunday at the Queen's Athletics and Recreation Centre.
 
The Varsity Blues cruised to the championship with 369 points, a good 104 ahead of silver medalists Western. The Ottawa Gee-Gees narrowly held off RMC for bronze by a lone point with 150.
 
In the gold medal epee team relay, Toronto continued to rise above the competition as Leanna Lui, Emily Principe, Radmila Yarovaya and Yilin Xu defeated Western's Cheng, Nova, Kasprzak and Widjaja by just a point 43-42.
 
Astrid Chandler, Esther Falkson, Rebecca Jeffrey and Danica Emiliana Yanes gave the Varsity Blues their second gold medal of the day as they defeated Western's Liu, Dosen, Yao and Perugu 45-36.
 
Siobhan Drysdale, Margaret Ho, Tianxi Hu and Caroline Placko earned the silver medal in the foil team relay final, narrowly falling to Ottawa 45-35.
