BLUES FINISH 6TH AT OUA CHAMPIONSHIP

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's lacrosse team dropped a 16-8 decision to the Laurier Golden Hawks in the consolation final of the 2019 OUA championship on Sunday (Oct. 20) in Oshawa, Ont.

Rhiannon Panting led the Blues with three goals, while Heather McDougall had two goals on the day. Jessica Diantonio, Brynne Yarranton and Kristie Liu each added singles tallies in the loss.

Following the match, McDougall, Lily Sedore and Blues netminder Sierra Watkins were all named OUA second team all-stars.
