BLUES FALL TO YORK AT NATIONAL QUALIFIER

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's tennis team fell 4-2 to the York Lions at the national qualifier semifinals on Friday, November 16.
 
The Blues started out with a win at the No. 1 doubles match by Brett Stinson and Andrew Bourne-Kaponeridis. This was followed by two close losses in the No. 2 and No. 3 matches.   

In singles action,  Bourne-Kaponeridis was the first player to record a singles win at the No. 3 spot. He was also the only singles and doubles winner for this match.

Alec Luchak followed that up with a win in the No. 6 spot. At the No. 5 spot, veteran Alex Bose was also tied 1-1 in sets when the match was called off due to the York team winning four points.
