The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's tennis team advanced to the OUA championship semifinal after defeating the Brock Badgers on Friday (Oct. 10) at Mayfair Club – Toronto East.
The Blues claimed the quarter-final victory by a final score of 5-2. U of T earned four singles wins, while winning two of three doubles to claim the single point from doubles matches. Shining for the Blues, the duo of Benjamin Whitley and Eric Ma earned an 8-5 doubles win in the No. 2 slot, while both also earned the win in their singles matches.
Toronto will next face the Queen's Gaels in the OUA semifinal round. First serve is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
