The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's tennis team captured another two wins over the weekend to complete a perfect regular season.

Competing at UTSC on Saturday (Oct. 3) and Sunday (Oct. 4), the Blues earned 6-1 wins over both the Waterloo Warriors and McMaster Marauders.

Toronto began the weekend winning the doubles point over Waterloo with two wins across the three doubles matches. That was followed up with five singles wins coming in the No. 2-5 slots. Lucas Mock and Stephen Wong were effective as the No. 1 doubles pair on Saturday, earning an 8-5 win. Wong would go on to also earn a 6-1, 6-0 singles win in the No. 3 position.

In the second matchup of the weekend, U of T opened with victory in two of the three doubles matches to secure the first point versus McMaster. From there, the Blues claimed wins in the first five singles matches to maintain their unblemished record on the season. Edward Kruppe and Ryan Mendoza served as the No. 1 doubles team on the day, earning an 8-6 win in the highly competitive position. Meanwhile, Wong claimed another 8-3 victory in the No. 1 singles position on Sunday.

Next up, the Varsity Blues men will look to defend their crown as they compete in the 2026 OUA Championships scheduled for Oct. 9-11 at Mayfair East in Markham.
