The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's tennis team won their third consecutive contest defeating the visiting Western Mustangs 5-2 on Sunday (Sept. 20).

Toronto swept the three doubles matches to earn the first point of the Sunday afternoon showdown from UTSC. From there, U of T claimed four more points with four singles victories. Picking up some thrilling wins in the No. 5 and No. 6 slots for the Blues, Gabriel Dattels won 7-6, 7-6 while Luka Kirigin battled to a three set victory of 6-4, 4-6, 11-9.

The Blues next welcome the Queen's Gaels to Scarborough on Sunday, Sept. 27.
