The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's tennis team earned another two victories this weekend picking up wins over the TMU Bold and Queen's Gaels.

Beginning with a showdown versus the Bold on Saturday (Sept. 26) at UTSC, the Varsity Blues earned a 5-2 win. After dropping the doubles point winning only one of three doubles matches, U of T bounced back with five singles wins. The Blues claimed five points with wins in all the singles matched from slots two to six.

Shifting to Sunday (Sept. 27), U of T knocked off Queen's 5-2. Toronto took two of three doubles matches to claim the first point. The Blues then followed that with singles wins across the top four slots to secure the home court win. Serving in the No. 1 singles position, Lucas Mock battled to a 6-3, 4-6, 10-7  win after also contributing to an 8-5 doubles win with partner Stephen Wong.

The Blues will close out their regular season with another pair of home court matches next weekend. Toronto will first take on the Waterloo Warriors on Saturday (Oct. 3) before challenging the McMaster Marauders in the regular season finale on Sunday (Oct. 4).
