The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's and women's soccer teams take on the UOIT Ridgebacks this Sunday, September 10 at Varsity Stadium.
 
The women kick off the action at 1 p.m., with the men to follow at 3:15 p.m. The matches are free and open to the public and will also be streamed live on OUA.tv.
 
Toronto's men remain unbeaten through the first two weeks of OUA regular season action and are coming off a thrilling come-from-behind victory over these same Ridgebacks they will be facing on Sunday. They are ranked No. 6 in this week's U SPORTS nation poll.
 
Down 1-0 in the 74th minute, Blues strikers Jack Wadden and Antonio Ajhert scored just 12 minutes apart to seal the victory. Wadden, a third-year striker from Ottawa, leads the Blues and ranks fifth in the province three goals and two assists for five points in four matches this season.
 
The Blues women will look to rebound after a tough weekend on the road. Toronto opened the season with two big victories over Laurentian and Nipissing at home, before narrowly falling to the Ottawa Gee-Gees and Carleton Ravens on Labour Day weekend.
 
Both teams welcome back their players who represented Canada at the 2017 FISU Summer Universiade in Taipei. For the men, team co-captain Lukas MacNaughton and veteran defender Koosha Nazemi return, while for the women, 2016 leading scorer and OUA first team all-star Natasha Klasios will be back on the pitch.
