GONSALVES LEADS BLUES OVER PALADINS

Box Score Second-year standout Julia Gonsalves scored two goals in helping the University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's soccer team to a 3-0 victory over the RMC Paladins on Saturday afternoon (Sept. 30) in Kingston, Ont.
 
A Toronto native, Gonsalves tallied the eventual game-winner in the ninth minute of the match. She then put Toronto up by two in the 65th minute, notching her fourth goal of the season.
 
Third-year striker Natasha Klasios added an insurance marker in the 76th minute, scoring her team-leading sixth of the season.
 
Sophomore goalkeeper Stephania Turyk made five saves in the clean sheet victory.
 
The Blues are back in action tomorrow (Oct. 1) as they take on the Queen's Gaels at Richardson Stadium. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
