The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's soccer team fell 4-0 to the Queen's Gaels on Day 1 of the Old Four tournament on Saturday, August 19 in London, Ont.

The Gaels opened the scoring in the 23rd minute and added another marker in the 32nd to take a 2-0 lead into halftime. Gaels player Jenny Wokver then added two second-half goals to round out the victory.

The Blues went onto drop a 2-0 decision to the McGill Martlets on Sunday. The Marltlets opened the scoring just before half and added an insurance marker in the 49th minute.

The Varsity Blues open their 2017 regular season campaign this Saturday, August 26 as they host the Nipissing Lakers in their home opener at Varsity Stadium. Game time is set for 12 p.m.
