The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's lacrosse team topped the OUA defending champion Trent Excalibur 17-9 on Saturday, October 7 in Kingston, Ont.
 
With the win, the Blues improve to 5-2-2 with four games remaining in the regular season.
 
Third-year goalie Daniela Solomon made 15 saves in the victory.
 
Fifth-year veterans Sarah Jamieson and Melissa Holland led the Blues with four goals apiece, while sophomore midfielder Sarah Morgan had three goals and three assists on the day.
 
Laurel McGillis added three goals and one assist, while Mary Anne Meerasabeer had two goals and one assist. Geneva Calder rounded out the scoring with one goal and one assist in the win.
