BLUES FALL TO RAVENS ON THE ROAD

Box Score The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's soccer team fell 2-0 to the Carleton Ravens on Saturday, September 10 in Ottawa.
 
With the loss, the Blues drop to 2-3-0 and sit tied for fourth place in the OUA East division, while the Ravens improve to 2-1-1 and in sole possession of third.
 
The Ravens opened the scoring in the 50th minute with a goal from Nicole Filipow and added to their lead seven minutes later when Claudia Lepore found the back of the net.
 
Cheslea Cheung led the Blues offensively with three shots on goal, while veteran goalkeeper Tori Edgar made 13 saves in the loss.
 
The Varsity Blues return to action tomorrow as they take on the No. 3 nationally ranked Ottawa Gee-Gees. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
