Box Score Third-year midfielder Nicki Parkes scored both goals as the University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's soccer team defeated the RMC Paladins 2-1 on Sunday afternoon (Sept. 6) in Kingston, Ont.

With the win, the Blues improve to 2-0-1 and remain in second place in the OUA East.

Parkes extended her scoring streak to three games, and now leads all players in the East with four goals.

Sara Petrucci and Sydney Crowe split goalkeeper duties, making three and five saves, respectively, in the win.

The Varsity Blues return to the field next Saturday, September 12 as they travel to Sudbury, Ont., to take on the Laurentian Voyageurs. Game time is set for 12 p.m.
