Box Score The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw with the Queen's Gaels on Saturday, September 5 in Kingston, Ont.

With the tie, the Blues are now 1-0-1 and sit in second place in the OUA East division.

Third-year midfielder Nicki Parkes of Sarnia, Ont., opened the scoring in the 16th minute for what would be U of T's lone goal of the match.

The host Gaels evened the score for good in the 34th minute with a marker from Sarah Nixon.

Blues veteran goalkeeper Sara Petrucci posted eight saves in the victory.

The Blues are back in action tomorrow afternoon as they take on the RMC Paladins in Kingston. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
