Box Score The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's soccer team fell 2-0 to the UOIT Ridgebacks on Wednesday night (Oct. 1) in Oshawa.
 
The loss drops U of T to 5-3-1 as they move into fifth place in the OUA East division.
 
After a scoreless first half, which saw Blues goalkeeper Sara Petrucci post six saves, UOIT finally opened the scoring in the 48th minute with a goal from Shynice Williams.
 
The Ridgebacks added an insurance marker in the 78th minute en route to the win.
 
The Varsity Blues will look to bounce back this Saturday, October 4 as they host the Carleton Ravens at Varsity Centre. The game is free and open to the public and will be streamed live at OUA.tv, starting at 1 p.m.
