Fourth-year striker and team co-captain Aisha Lewis scored the lone goal as the University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's soccer team defeated the Ryerson Rams 1-0 on Sunday afternoon (Sept. 29) at Monarch Park Stadium.
With the win, the Blues improve to 7-2-1 and remain in second place in the OUA East division.

Lewis (Mississauga, Ont.) scored the game-winner in the 32nd minute to secure Toronto's sixth straight victory.
U of T outshot the Rams 5-3, and Bolton, Ont., native Sara Petrucci earned the shut out win in net.
The Varsity Blues return to action next Saturday, October 5 as they travel to North Bay, Ont., to take on the Nipissing Lakers. Game time is set for 12 p.m.
