The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's lacrosse team defeated the UOIT Ridgebacks and McGill Martlets on Saturday, October 28 in Peterborough, Ont.
 
With the wins, the Blues improve to 5-1 and the midway point of the regular season.
 
The Blues topped the Ridgebacks 10-6 in their second consecutive meeting.

First-year midfielder Sarah Jamieson (Etobicoke) once again led the Blues with four goals, while Taryn Grieder (Cobourg) had two. Larissa Boychuk, MaryAnne Meerasabeer and Christine Neatby each added a single tally in the win.

Toronto went onto defeat the Martlets 16-6 later in the afternoon. 

Grieder led the Blues with five goals, while Jamieson had four. Carly Heitzner added two and Meerasabeer, Boychuk, Kristie Liu, Tasha Watkins, Emily Boyer and Lynn Li all added a goal apiece in the victory. 

The Varsity Blues return to action tomorrow as they take on the Queen's Gaels in Peterborough at 11:45 a.m.
