First-year midfielder Sarah Jamieson scored six goals and added two assists as the University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's lacrosse team narrowly fell 14-11 to the OUA defending champion Western Mustangs on Sunday, September 15 in Guelph, Ont.
 
Down 7-5 at halftime, the Blues went goal-for-goal with the perennial powerhouse Mustangs. Jamieson four of Toronto's six-second half goals in the narrow loss.
 
Taryn Greider and Larissa Boychuk each tallied two goals, with Emily Boyer adding a single marker in the loss.
 
The Varsity Blues return to action next Sunday, September 22 as they travel to Hamilton, Ont., to take on the UOIT Ridgebacks. Game time is set for 9:45 a.m.
