The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's soccer team fell 1-0 to the No. 1 Ottawa Gee-Gees on Saturday night (Oct. 19) at Matt Anthony Field.
The loss marks Toronto's first since opening weekend and drops the Blues into third place, one point behind the Carleton Ravens.
U of T takes on the Ravens tomorrow afternoon at 1 p.m. The Blues need a win over Carleton to secure second place and a bye into the OUA quarter-final round.
Ottawa's Faythe Lou scored the game's lone goal in the 20th minute. Toronto goalkeeper Sara Petrucci made four saves in the loss.Â
