The University of Toronto women's water polo team hosted the McMaster Marauders on Friday night (Oct. 18) in the second half of the back-to-back home and home series.

At McMaster, the Blues had squeaked out a 10-7 victory but this time, an undermanned McMaster squad would prove to be no match.

The Blues scored early and often building an 8-0 first quarter lead. The inexperienced McMaster line-up was unable to handle the tight defensive pressure applied by the Blues that then led to numerous counterattack opportunities on turnovers.

The lead was then extended to 13-0 in the second quarter before McMaster  got on the board with a late tally.

From there, the Blues coasted home to a 19-3 win.

Rookie Emily Bidinosti and sophomore Johanna Pinto Lee led the way with four goals apiece.

Junior Danielle Hirsh potted a hat trick while rookies Ana Mirolsavic and Marianne Tout along with sophomore Stephanie Watson added two each.

Single markers went to sophomore Julie Szpara and first year law student Chrissie Gros.
