The Varsity Blues women’s soccer team notched their fourth straight win with an 8-0 victory over the Trent Excalibur on Wednesday, October 17 in Peterborough, Ont.
 
With the win, the Blues improve to 9-3-2 and sit three points back of the second-place Queen’s Gaels.
 
Third-year veteran Hattie Daumann (Vancouver) led the Blues with three goals, while rookie striker LaShaunna Harper notched two goals on the night.
 
Diana Esteireiro, Caroline Murphy and Mitra Mokhtari all added single tallies in the win.
 
The Varsity Blues return to action this Saturday, October 20 as they host the Nipissing Lakers at Varsity Centre. Game time is set for 12 p.m.
