The Varsity Blues women’s soccer team drew the Ryerson Rams to a 0-0 tie on Sunday, September 19 at Varsity Centre.

The Blues currently sit in second place in the OUA East division with a 3-1-2 record.

U of T dominated the game, outshooting the Rams 6-2. Second-year forward Jessica Fantozzi (Richmond Hill, Ont.) led the charge but was unable to put one past Rams veteran goalkeeper Stefanie Webster (Mississauga, Ont.).

Fifth-year Toronto midfielder Kate Crowley of London, Ont., played a solid two-way game, while goalkeeper Katarina Vulic (Oakville, Ont.) made two saves in the draw.

The Varsity Blues return to action next Saturday, September 25 when they host the Carleton Ravens at Varsity Centre. Game time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
