For the third consecutive game, the Varsity Blues women’s soccer team played to a 0-0 draw, this time versus the Ottawa Gee-Gees on Saturday, October 2 at Matt Anthony Field.
In a hard-fought battle, neither team could get on the board on this day. The Blues put up a solid defensive battle to hold off any Gee-Gees scoring attempts with Ottawa narrowly outshooting the Blues 7-6 over 90 minutes of action.
Kate Crowley of London, Ont., led the team with two shots, while Ottawa’s Christine Hardie had a game-high three on Blues goalkeeper Katarine Vulic (Oakville, Ont.).
The Varsity Blues return to action tomorrow when they take on the Carleton Ravens at 1 p.m.
